See COLOR in a different way. That was the challenge we issued to the over 1,500 colorists who came together in Miami for BTC’s inaugural COLOR show. Top colorists from around the world—including Beth Minardi for Joico; Kim Vo for Schwarzkopf Professional; The Doves for Wella Professionals; John Simpson for Goldwell; Ian Michael Black and David Adams for Aveda; Christel Lundqvist and Richy Kandasamy for TIGI; Gina Khan for Logics; Chrystofer Benson for Matrix; Jason Backe and Jennifer MacDougall for L’Oréal Professionnel; Teri Dougherty and Candice Bossendorfer for Aloxxi; Lisa Marie; Lorena Garcia and Maggie Karcher for Farouk; and Robb Dubré, Davin Testerman and Timothy Durant for Kenra Professional—shared new techniques, inspirational formulas and all-around amazing education with the sold-out crowd. And by the end of the 2-day event, we’re positive every attendee not only saw color differently, but felt more inspired, motivated and passionate about their work.

COLOR was all about learning. There were no half-naked models, no overly-loud music…just straight up education. Every presenting company, plus three additional companies—Alfaparf, Davines and Keratin Complex—had a dedicated “studio” where they could offer up-close-and-personal demonstrations to the attendees in an intimate setting.

We knew the show would be amazing, but we weren’t prepared for the overwhelming response we received from the attendees. Here’s just a selection of the feedback we’ve gotten so far:

“Spectacular, brilliant, inspiring, breathtaking…just a few words to describe the incredible event at BTC Color this past weekend! I sat through all the presentations and loved them all! All different, all unique, and all inspired us to improve ourselves, our art and our business. WOW! Bravo for setting high standards for our industry; no one can do it like you and your team! Congratulations and I look forward to your next gathering of talent, artistry and education!”
—Damien Carney
Joico International Creative Director

“Wow, what an amazing experience the BTC color show was! After nearly 30 years in the business, I sometimes have trouble finding inspiration. It was so worth the journey from LA to Miami to find it. Thanks to Mary and all the incredibly hard working staff at BTC. I can't wait for next year!”
—Ruh Webb

“Thank you for such an inspiring, motivating education packed weekend! Great artists, colors and so much fun!”
—Kelly Betty

“Mary, I cannot tell you how incredible this weekend was. I learned so much from all the fabulous artists and made so many new hair friends. I've been doing this for 30 years and this, my dear, was the BEST! Can't wait to get home and get back behind the chair.”
