Major Distributor Veteran Named to
Executive Manufacturer Post

Big news from Farouk Systems! The company proudly announces that beauty industry veteran, Andre Chiavelli, will serve as the Executive Vice President of Global Corporate Strategy.

Chiavelli will be responsible for driving sales and profitability by developing and executing domestic and international strategic plans supporting sales, marketing, education, events and public relations initiatives. He will directly report to Basim Shami, CEO of Farouk Systems, Inc.

“Andre brings the energy, passion and experience to Farouk Systems that will take us to the next level,” says Basim. “He shares the same love for hairdressers that our company was built around and we look forward to expanding our professional programs to further support our valued stylists.”

Chiavelli joins the Farouk family from Emiliani Enterprises, where he served as the Executive Vice President of Sales, Corporate Strategy, Education and Shows for 12 years. He tripled the size of his company during his tenure. His most famous highlights include award-winning shows: The Fourth Dimension, Runway V, and the U.S. Vidal Sassoon tribute, a show dedicated to the beloved industry icon, with his son Elan.

“Farouk Systems is the place for me because we share the same passion for the hairdresser and dedication to the industry,” says Chiavelli. “Hairdressers are the best artists in the world. They can go on stage in front of thousands of people and create original works of art with their hands, right in front of you! They are true artists.”
