Who Is SEVEN^®?
SEVEN^® salon started as a crew of nine stylists and quickly grew to a team of 65. Along with this growth came the need for different products, ones that SEVEN’s clients could use in everyday life. The SEVEN salon hairdressers didn’t want to use heavy products meant for editorial photoshoots—they wanted touchable, luxurious, naturally three-dimensional hair for their clients. Now, the salon also has a full product line and an education platform.

Why SEVEN^®?
Considered a lucky number across many cultures, seven is thought to be especially fortunate for relationships—which is the foundation to succeeding as a stylist, from your relationships with clients to your relationships with your salon team members. It is also the number of classic face shapes, from oval to triangle, that form the heart of the SEVEN signature client consultation system. Finally, the original salon opened on 7th Street in downtown Seattle.

What’s Behind SEVEN^®?
Like the quote above says, to be a true artist you must engage your hands, head and heart. SEVEN’s education aims to do all three. To engage your head, stylist bootcamps focus on business skills like retailing concepts, client retention and how to best use social media to grow your business. To engage your hands, technical courses focus on cutting techniques, on-trend styling and optimal product use. And to engage your heart, SEVEN combines all of the above, adding the passion of its platform educators to create its inspiring DEFINE series. During these events, SEVEN combines technical education, business education and creative enthusiasm to inspire and reignite stylists’ love for their craft.
