Glamour and Softness Were Key at Fashion Week with Warren-Tricomi

Runways were a-flutter with femininity during Spring Fashion Week 2006 thanks to the team at Warren-Tricomi, who bedecked the runways for Naeem Khan, Venexiana, Ann Bowen, Adrian Jon, Rena Lange, Sanjana Jan, and the bridal collections of Henry Roth and Yumi Katsuri with glamorous, sexy styles!

Edward Tricomi for Warren-Tricomi: “It was all based on keeping it glamorous and soft.  I wanted really pretty, sexy hair.  I wanted it to be feminine and beautiful.”

The catwalks paved the way for a return to soft, healthy, relaxed looks this spring.  Among the top trends styled by Warren-Tricomi teams, led by Edward Tricomi, Ricardo Rojas and Sean James, soft waves featured prominently.

SOFT  AND HEALTHY
Tricomi’s team glammed up the natural look with hair for miles; big, bouncy waves; and tons of shine.  This season, he said, is more about really pretty, beautiful hair.

HAIR WITH AN EDGE
It was good girls gone bad when it came to short hair on the runways.  Pretty, soft looks got strength and street cred when paired with this year’s version of the Mohawk.  “I call it ‘Expensive Punk,'” said Tricomi.

LOOSE UPDOS
The Warren-Tricomi team sent models down the runway with loose updos, as well: some twisted, some braided, some based on looks from a century ago. “It was based off the hair of the late 1800s,” he said.
