For the first time ever at CMBS, the Center Stage was placed in the middle of the exhibit floor… a perfect place to watch the stars and catch first glimpse of the newest looks from top names like Headliner European dynamo Marlies Möller who unveiled her East-Meets-West design collection.

Also on stage- Robert Cromeans for Paul Mitchell, Wayne Grund for Grund, Marvin Young for Farouk, Kris Sorbie & Noah Hatton for Redken, Eli Alexander for Schwarzkopf, L’Oréal Professional and Babyliss Pro/RUSK.

And the action on Center Stage never stopped- from the continuous performances all day to Sunday night’s glam-slam CMBStyle show when the hottest Chicago and international salons and the finest manufacturer teams took the to present artistry and imagination with the best in fashion and hairstyling to an cheering audience of thousands of their peers. 

Names like Sam Brocato for Beautopia, Scott Cole & Linda Yodice for Paul Mitchell The Color, Noah Hatton & Kris Sorbie for Redken Fifth Avenue NYC, the RUSK Creative Team, Kim Whitehurst for SoftSheen/Carson, and Farouk’s Marvin Young represented CMBS exhibitors.

Several salon teams also gave their all for fashion to make CMBStyle rock! They included Jamie Carroll of Australia, Ken Novak, USA; Martin Parsons of Toronto; Chicago’s own Mario Tricoci, plus James Harris & the Hair Fashion Group including Frank Walker, Paris Maurice Lemons, Johnny Gentry, Dwight Eubanks, Elvonda Kennedy, “Cindy” Harris and Dino Ivory.
