AG Hair Cosmetics “Downtown” Collection

To scholars, the word “architecture” may be defined as the manipulation of space, volume, texture, light, shadow and abstract elements in order to achieve an aesthetic end.  But for AG Hair Cosmetics’ 2008 collection, Architecture, is defined and inspired by the silhouettes, the shapes and the districts of the world’s most notable buildings and cities, and by the people who inhabit them.

This first installment of the two-part Architecture collection, called “Downtown is inspired by the urban landscapes of bustling cities, but it’s certainly no concrete jungle.  It’s raw, edgy and beautiful, with structured styles synonymous with this spring’s hair.

“AG’s Downtown styles reflect the creative, transformative side of urban life,” says Symons.  “Think hair that’s strong, geometric, textured and most importantly, adaptable.  Looks with volume, texture and an edgy, street-level feel are seen on the sharpest style-setters.”
