BTC Exclusive: Anthony Mascolo’s Undercut
In this rebellious, righteous collection, created exclusively for behindthechair.com On Paper, Anthony Mascolo turns to one of his favorite cutting techniques—undercutting. Here, the technique evolves, thanks to a new approach to balance and fresh details. The sweetest of the three cuts—nicknamed “Urchin” –is created with block graduation and disconnection and finished with slicing and point-cutting to soften the outline and create detail. The other two cuts are more radical, with longer disconnection and riotously, texturized crown lengths. It’s all about showing your strength, says Anthony, with forceful shapes that answer the call of the “rock-style lifestyle.”
