The latest avant garde collection—Elemental II—from Darren Ambrose of the UK’s D&J Ambrose Salon captivates with intricate detail and amazing silhouettes. It’s a decidedly winter palette, focusing on pale blonde, cool hazel and bitter chocolate hues. Makeup and styling was kept to a minimum; this collection is all about the hair, and there’s lots of it. This season’s trend is volume, volume, volume…if Darren Ambrose has anything to say about it. He accentuates each voluminous shape with delicate textures, organic billows and geometric patterns.
