  Section the hair from ear to ear and take a straight parting above the occipital bone to join the previously defined sections.  Clip the fringe to leave a trigular section at the crown.

  Begin at the center back.

  Taking vertical sections, elevate the hair to create slight graduation.

  Each parallel section is over directed to the center to retain weight behind the ear.

  Refine the back section using a point cutting technique.

  Continue with the point cutting technique.

  Completed back.

  Work through the top back crown; starting at the center, pull each section out from the head and cut a longer length than the previously cut section.

  Blow dry the front smooth then cut a rounded fringe just below the eyebrows, which curves through the outline.

  Release the final section and, using a free-hand technique, slide-cut into the lengths to remove weight and create a shattered perimeter.
