  Step 1: Utilizing the natural part as a guide, take a zig-zag parting off the front hairline to the crown on one side of the headshape. Take a curved parting on the opposite side and isolate. Create a “V” parting below the zig-zag parting and isolate. Take a diagonal forward parting from mid-recession to the curved parting.

  Step 2: Start in the “V” section using a natural weaving technique, take a diagonal back parting and alternate Colour Selection 1 and Colour Selection 2, isolating with TIGI Colour Meche Strips.

  Step 3: In the top section, keeping off the front hairline, take a horizontal parting and alternate Colour Selection 1 and Colour Selection 2 (for more contrast alternate two light sub-sections to one dark sub-section).

  Step 4: Continue working in the same manner until the section is complete.

  Step 1: Take a pie section across the headshape and isolate.

  Step 2: Starting on one side of the headshape and using a slicing technique, alternate Colour Selection 1 and Colour Selection 2 until reaching the natural part. Isolate with TIGI Colour Meche Strips.

  Step 3: On the opposite side, alternate Colour Selection 1 and Colour Selection 2 using a natural weaving technique. Isolate with TIGI Colour Meche Strips.

  Step 4: Once you reach the natural part, remember to leave hair between the two sub-sections to prevent a concentrated area of lightness.

  Step 1: Take an off-set irregular zig-zag parting in the crown area and isolate.

  Step 2: Apply Colour Selection 1 to the underside of the irregular zig-zag parting. *For an on-the-scalp application, use TIGI Colour Activator 8.5 volume/2.55% or TIGI Colour Activator 20 volume/6%

  Step 3: In the zig-zag parting, work across the headshape, alternating between a slice and a placement weave.

  Step 4: Start by taking a slice, apply Colour Selection 1 from roots to ends. Isolate with TIGI Colour Meche Strups.

  Step 5: Take another slice and apply Colour Selection 2. Isolate with TIGI Colour Meche Strips.

  Step 6: Next, take a placement weave using two sub-sections and apply Colour Selection 1 on one sub-weave and Colour Selection 2 on the other sub-weave.

  Step 7: To complete the section, repeat the previous technique, alternating the placements of Colour Selection 1 and Colour Selection 2 to create dimension within the focal area.
