HOW-TO STEPS

    Model has natural, level 5, medium brown hair. Pre-Color Process: Apply K-PAK Chelating Shampoo, leave in 5 minutes, then rinse. Apply K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor, leave in 5 minutes, then rinse. Apply K-PAK Professional Cuticle Sealer, leave in 5 minutes, rinse, then dry hair.

    #1: Vero K-PAK Color HLG with double 40 Volume (12%) Veroxide (Gold Foil)

    #2: Vero K-PAK Color 8RG with 20 Volume (6%) Veroxide (Copper Foil)

    Starting off the side parting, take a horizontal weave parting and apply Formula 1.

    Directly underneath, take a slice parting and apply Formula 2.

    Directly underneath, leave a slice of hair un-foiled, then take a weave parting and apply Formula 3.

    Directly underneath, take a slice parting and apply Formula 4.

    Leave a piece of hair un-foiled, then repeat the foiling pattern for a total of approximately eight foils.

    Proceed to the opposite side.  Take a diagonal triangle-shaped slice parting (approximately 1/8-inch (½ cm) wide at the top and ¾-inch (2 cm) wide at the bottom) of hair from the fringe area and comb it out of the way.  Take a diagonal weave parting and apply Formula 1.

    Working diagonally toward the back of the head, take a slice parting and apply Formula 2.

    Continuing in the same direction, leave a slice parting of hair un-foiled, then take a diagonal weave parting and apply Formula 3. Directly underneath, take a slice parting and apply Formula 4.

    Leave a diagonal triangleshaped slice parting of hair un-foiled, then continue the foiling pattern for a total of approximately 12 foils.

    Take a horizontal weave parting from the crown and apply Formula 1. Note: Hair that has been left out will serve as a slight overhang for the back section.

    Directly underneath, take a slice parting and apply Formula 2. Leave a slice parting of hair un-foiled, then take a weave parting and apply Formula 3.  Take slice parting and apply Formula 4. Check the foils to ensure proper, consistent color saturation. Process accordingly.

    Post-Color Process: Thoroughly rinse haircolor from hair.  Apply K-PAK Professional Cuticle
    Sealer, leave in 5 minutes, then rinse.  Apply K-PAK Intense Hydrator, leave in 5 minutes, then rinse. Dry hair and style as desired.
