  Interim Tonal Glossing Service:
   
  Revitalize and condition the color during the next salon appointment by re-booking your client for an Interim Tonal Glossing service.

  40 ml Colorance Lotion + 20 ml 9VR Colorance Acid Color

  1) Measure and mix in Colorance Applicator Bottle and apply throughout the hair.
  2) Process for approx. 5-25 minutes.
  3) Rinse. Condition with appropriate GOLDWELL conditioner.

  COLOR FORMULA:

  a) 15 ml 12% (40 vol.) Topchic Lotion + 10 ml 9VR + 5 ml 8SB Topchic Hair Color
  b) 15 ml 6% (20 vol.) Topchic Lotion + 10 ml 7RB + 5 ml 7SB Topchic Hair Color
  c) 20 ml 9% (30 vol.) Topchic Lotion + 10 ml Blonding Cream Ash
  d) 40 ml 3% (10 vol.) Topchic Lotion + 30 ml 6SB + 10 ml 3VR Topchic Hair Color

  Step 1:
  Position the “Z” design line (red line in diagram) in an open angle to vary the degree of color from the corners and asymmetrically throughout.

  Step 2:
  Start at the front. Place foil packets using formula a) 9VR + 8SB to the “Z” design line
  (red line in diagram).

  Step 3:
  Continue to place 3-4 foil packets  parallel to the “Z” design line using formula b) 7RB + 7SB (black line in diagram).
   
  Step 4:
  Next place about 4-5 foils with formula c) Blonding Cream Ash (purple line in diagram).

  Step 5:
  Apply formula d) 6SB + 3VR around the foils and to all the remaining hair.
   
  Step 6:
  Process for 30 minutes (or 20 minutes using heat accelerator e.g.: HairMaster Ultra).
   
  Step 7:
  Rinse and remove foil packets. Shampoo and condition with appropriate GOLDWELL products.

  Step 1:
  Section a continuous central “Z” design line to form the central color accent
  (see red line in diagram).
   
  Step 2:
  Place foil packets and formula a) 10GK + 8SB on the central “Z” design line (red line in diagram).

  Complete about 4-6 foils with formula b) 8K + 7SB parallel to the central “Z” design line (black line in diagram).
   
  Step 4:
  Complete about 4 foils of formula c) Blonding Cream (purple line in diagram).

  Apply formula d) 6KG + 6SB around the foils and to all the remaining hair.
   
  Step 6:
  Process for 30 minutes (or 20 minutes using heat accelerator e.g.: HairMaster Ultra).

  “Z” Design lines
   
  • The “Z” design incorporates a series of “Z”s placed parallel to each other.

  • Both creative technique services featured here utilize the “Z” design line concept, which allows many further creative variations.

  • The “Z” lines move across the head at different angles and utilize horizontal and diagonal placement within the one design.

  • For creative variations, plan the placement of the “Z” design lines to enhance your overall color result. Place your sections according to where you want to see accents in key locations.

  • Angle the corners of the “Z”s more sharply and closed to tighten the color accent. Open the “Z”s to loosen it and filter the color accent in a more subtle way.

  • The size of the “Z” design depends on the size of the head, texture and density of the hair and the spread of color that you wish to create.

  • During the consultation, take into consideration the shape and fall of the overall style together with the clients features you wish to enhance, to plan your placements.

  • The set of parallel “Z” design lines can be placed immediately side by side or by leaving some hair in between each line of foils, depending on the degree of filtering or intensity desired.

  TONAL GLOSSING SERVICE:
  This is an optional post color service that can be recommended to further enhance and enrich the tone, condition and shine as part of the creative technique service OR at any time as an INTERIM SERVICE between creative techniques.
