Using Goldwell
color, NAHA winner John Simpson created this stunning,
vintage raspberry hue—perfect for holiday redheads! Here’s
his how-to on a Level 5. First, prepare the base with two formulas:
Topchic 3VR + 10-Volume Developer, placed below the occipital and
Topchic 25 ml 6RV + 25 ml 6RR + 50 ml 20-Volume Developer on all remaining
strands. Next, create a narrow, arrow-shaped section from crown to
recession point on each side. Within the arrow, alternate the following
two formulas in back-to-back foiled slices: Opticur Platin + 30-Volume
Developer and Colorance 6RV + 6SB + Developer. Finally, tone with
Elumen 20 ml PK (pink) + 20 ml YY (yellow) for a blushing, rosy glow.
