The Four Questions

Regardless of whether your client is a soccer mom, a business mogul or a rock star, you have the best chance of keeping her if you do a thorough consultation each time she's in your chair. (Yes, even now during the holiday rush!) A great consultation always includes four questions: How did your haircut and/or color work for you last time? What challenges are you having with your hair? How did XYZ product work for you? Are we still working on the same goals or have they changed? Also, always be ready with a suggestion for her hair whether she goes for it or not, she'll be impressed that you took the time to come up with a new idea!
