Ruffled Chignon

This soft-textured back-sweep from Serandi’s “Runway to Reality” DVD will bring tears of joy to your bridal and prom clients’ eyes. Divide the head in half, ear to ear. Gather the bottom in a ponytail and curl the ends. Set the top off-base, twisting each section as you roll. Release the rollers and loosen the finished curls with a tail comb. Backcomb the roots and the base of the tail. Gather each side and tightly roll as you direct them back to the center, then secure with pins. Roll the bottom up to the base and secure.
