From the shampoo bowl to the refreshment center, water plays a leading
role in the salon. That’s why Dierdre Wilson de Araujo
of Tao Blaze Salon in Los Gatos, CA
has installed water filters throughout the salon. “At the
shampoo bowl, they filter the chlorine from the water,” explains
Dierdre. “And in the salon, they filter our drinking water
and tea—our water tastes delicious! We have an air filter
as well, which emits negative ions that make the environment relaxing
and healthy. What’s more, we save money on bottled water and
we protect the environment because we don’t need trucks to
deliver those big plastic water bottles!”
