In
It For the Long Haul
Cement long-term relationships with clients, advises BTC
Member Bethany Wing, of Salon BeLor
in Cape Cod, MA, by preparing them for a future
together. For example, she says, after her service, let your
client know you’re already planning her next visit by
saying: “Your current bob will have beautiful length in
about eight weeks and my vision at that point would be to shatter
the interior of this cut and add some dramatic highlights around
your face. Then, come fall, we should tone those highlights
to a beautiful cinnamon.” Now you’re in it together,
says Bethany, and she’ll be eager to see what you’re
planning to do next!
