Cold
Shoulders
Based on catwalk trends, shoulders are the new décolletage.
And sexy, one-shouldered numbers are everywhere now, including the
altar. If your client has chosen this wedding look, says Amy
Abramite, Creative Director for Maxine
Salon in Chicago, consider an asymmetrical
bun for her wedding day ‘do. The look is perfect for any texture—straight,
wavy or curly. Place the bun on the side where the shoulder is bare,
suggests Amy, and keep it low on the nape to balance the design
of the dress. The fringe can be swept back or over to the side,
and if you choose the latter, be sure it sweeps in the direction
of the unclad shoulder.
