from the Center When doing a full head bleach on virgin hair, it’s important to avoid applying too much product near the scalp. Doing so, says Joico Vero K-PAK Color Artistic Director Sue Pemberton, could cause the scalp area to flatten under the weight. Then the product may touch the scalp and you could incur irritation and overlapping. To avoid this, elevate each section as you work to prevent it from lying on the scalp. Begin your application at midshaft when your brush is loaded with the greatest amount of product.
