Quizzes
As a salon owner, manager or education director, it’s up to
you to make sure that stylists’ skills are always up to speed.
Salon expert and reality TV star Tabatha Coffey
recommends keeping staffers on their toes with regular pop quizzes.
Post a technique, formula or tip in the back room each week, or
an assignment to view a training DVD. Then ask someone for a definition
or demonstration when they least expect it. “Grade”
each staffer and at the end of a pre-determined period, the top
scorer wins a prize!
