Everybody likes to be in on what’s new, what’s cool and what works. One of the best ways to engage clients in the salon is to promote your products as “Employee Favorites.” Create employee-pick-of-the-month signs for your retail shelves. One could read: “Amber’s Pick of the Month: Amber sez, ‘This styling crème is my favorite for curly hair because it gets rid of frizz and the hair always feels soft, never crunchy.’” Use this approach in your marketing, too—you can post Employee Picks on your website or Facebook page and use them in your newsletters and e-mail marketing. It’s a great way to generate retail interest and excitement!
