"Oster Clipper Help PLZ"
Posted: Thursday, July 24, 2008 11:18:00 PM
Hello! I have an oster 76 that apparently needs some help. Basically when I hold it it feels as if the motor is being squeezed against the side walls of the insides. I thought maybe the carbon brushes were screwed in to tight but when they're loose enough to not add pressure the screw caps fall off! And beause of this added pressure(or whatever is going on) it makes the blades run too slow and is EXTREMELY loud. Louder than a vacuum!
Has this happened to anyone before? Is it fixable or should I get a new clipper?

Recommendations would be awesome!

You need to take it in to an Oster authroized repair facility OR Oster itself.

I would buy a brand new one the same model, and use the information inside to send it out,

This way you have a backup as well.
