Hi, I'm a stylist that works at a high end salon in Hawaii...People pay big bucks to get what they want...My main problem is how coworkers dress...

One stylist wears spaghetti straps every single day....Is that inappropriate?

Another stylist comes in wearing slippers...I feel like they are giving the salon a bad name. 

What should I do?

i don't know if you are an employee or a renter, but if you are an employee,your boss should weigh in on this.if there isn't a dress code, i guess it's up to you to mention how unprofessional these co workers look.

if you are renting, there's not a lot you can do about how others dress.you just have to maintain your own personal professional appearance, and hope it outshines the sloppy dressers.

most states have a code as far as the state board goes, mostly for safety and sanitation,you could refer to them at your state board's website. other than that, i guess ignoring the mess might be the best way to deal.

Everyone at the salon is an employee..
