We start out with a 1 minute rough perimeter dry cut to establish length, then the client is shampooed and we do a 3 step wet cut:
1. Define the perimeter
2. Do exterior work, like layers, graduation.
3. Do interior work to create movement.
All the wet cut should take no more than 8-10 minutes.
After the client is blow dried, we finish dry cutting to detail the hair. Only on dry hair can we truly see where hair needs to be perfected. The dry finish cut will only take a couple of minutes.
