I am young and start my first salon job tomorrow, Ive always been the type to be paranoid since I was young, and now I feel depressed , alone, scared like as if I don't know anything and just freaked out about my new job, I feel like I'm just being thrown out there like a lost puppy, idk what to do I feel like I need a mentor or something ...

First, congrats on your new job! You know you are still green and you feel like you need a mentor - then find one in your salon. Watch the stylists for about a week, and see if there is one you can click with. Flattery will get you everywhere! Tell the stylist that you'd love to learn from them, and watch them work when you're not busy. Never be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one you never ask! It's normal to be nervous, so just be a sponge and soak up all the information you can.
