my favorite for 15 years now is the oster fast feed. i have had the same one for 3-4 years, i just keep it clean and oiled and change the blades every now and then. it's a workhorse.

I live in a military town, and the mojoraty of my clients are soldiers. I have tried several types of clippers. The truth is, don't buy it unless you can pick it up and feel it in your hands. I prefer the Wahl sterling 4 model. It's not too heavy, but just right so I have control, the shape fits in my hands well, and I can do a skin fade in 10 minutes or less with it.
