“This film talks to the issues of women in the workplace and what it takes to be a female leader in an industry where we make up 95% of its members and yet the top names you hear are usually men’s,” says Mackinder, explaining that this imbalance is what motivated her to produce the film.

“Women typically try to serve two masters—career and family—and this is not easily accomplished,” Mackinder says. “All three of us have made great sacrifices and we speak to this. We serve as examples for women who are wrestling with some extremely tough decisions.”
